welding frames?

i have a crack in my frame and im getting it welded but what welder do i need because i can borrow 1 and my dads friend will weld it what do i need, a mig or a tig? its a crf50 frame btw, thanks dan

A mig will do man U could use an arc welder as well

if you want it to be nice get it tig welded will be stronger aswell

yeah tig is the best to use as it doesnt produce as much heat. but failing that a mig is more than adequate, just make sure you dont blast to much heat into it.. use a wet rag when welding and it will be fine..

if ya worried about look mig n dress off a lil.. she be sweat... just be sure to have gas on etc n to clean nozz;e so u get a nice weld n doesnt look like bird s@#! yeh.. ask for sum scrap to prac on before startin so ya knw wat ya doin mate
