Thanks man, any idea on the year? Also what would you suggest i oay 350? Anything i shoukd look for that might be broke this is my first time buying a used bike and new to the bike world.

Providing everything looks and sounds good I'd hit him at $300 you can always try $350 if that fails.

First thing to check is that it starts with good compression, if there's no crazy rattles or weird noises take it for a little ride up the road and put all the gears under a bit of load. Give the front n back wheels a bit of a wiggle to see if the bearings are shagged, same with the head stem bearings, jump on the bike and hold the front brake on and shift the weight from front to back, you will feel the slack in the head stem if they're gone. Also check the fork legs on the suspension for excessive oil after you've done this.

Providing all of the above checks out I'd say $350 is a good price for that.

I've probably forgotten something to check but that's a good starting point.

Thanks a lot man ill let yall know how it goes tomorrow hopefully it fits in the back of my truck since it has a cover or ill sqeeze it in my cab lol

Ok i got it for 300 he said it was a 125 bored to a 140 i see it needs rear brake pads and brake fluid anyone know where i can oick this uo or ill have to order it? Also the exhaust looks like its missing a bracket r sumthing neae thr kick stsrter i see itd rattling in my truck id it sn easy fix?

How can i find out what year or model it is or where can i find the serial number? So i can buy some parts?

There should be a build plate on the head tube of the frame where the fork's go through.
There will be an engine model number stamped into the engine case too, down below the front sprocket area and slightly forward
The top number is the engine model, eg 1P54FMI

I can't quite tell from the angle of the original pic's
But does it look like any of these ?

X2 120 (125cc) 2006 - 2013-ish normally 12" front, 10" rear

I'm pretty sure the Pitsterpro's have a build plate, some of the cheaper bramnnd's just have the number's stamped into the frame
Did you get the Title with the bike

Ok i found the serial number on the motor 154fmi-2 is the number on top the bottom one is *8ab00009* it cranks right up just needs some minor work like brake pads brake fluid muffler needs to be rewelded or beaded to the frame it on just rattles, i put a hose clap for now ima need a new fork prolly cuz i see the front clamp is cracked i guess he screwed it in too much or landed wrong. Also the oil hose by the front brake is kind of long ans in the way will it catch onto trees or something? I wish it would let me post pics so you. Guys can see what im talking about.

Ok, engine is a Jialing 125 which is good,
they have a strong gearbox, and top end can be upgraded later if you want a bit more power.
Yeah you'll need a new lower tripple clamp, measure the diameter of the fork tube where it clamp's on (might be 48mm ?)
Flush the old brake fluid out and replace it with Dot 4 (local part's place should have it), bleed brake's etc

With the oil cooler bypass hose being too long, you could buy a short jumper link to replace that hose
Or buy a oil cooler kit for it
Make sure you check the size of the banjo bolt's that screw into the engine for the hose end's they may be 8mm or 10mm before you buy a oil cooler

New disc pad's, you will need to take the wheel off and replave the caliper to see what type of disc pad's it use's
You might be able to take a picture of the caliper and show it to TBolt or a pit bike shop and match up some disc pad's
Get the gold coloured copper/sintered pad's for it they stop a lot better than the organic one's

You could download Tappatalk for you phone.

Alternatively if your on a PC you could start up and account with a picture sharing site like Photobucket just upload, copy & paste. Easy peasy!

Thanks for yall help, i downloaded tapatalk on my phone so i can post pics, im going to drain and replace the brake fluids today and toque seal some bolts. And try n figure out what pads i need to order, is there anything to look for being wrong with the brakes since i dint know how ling its been without fluid it looks bone dry on both resivors.

It may not have had the brake fluid replaced from when it left the factory.
So the original staff might have dried up etc, it's pretty thin stuff they use in the factory

if you fill the master's and start bleeding the brake's and you find fluid starting to leak out from the calipers' piston's they may be rusted and pitted
If this is the case then the caliper's will need to be replaced.
The new caliper's generally come with new disc pad's too so check the condition of the caliper's when you take them off.

One of the cylinders weren't closing but we hit it alil and sorayed wd and it started closing but the brake pads are so shot i dont think its rubbing the tire so i ordered new brake pads and ill see if not ima have to order the caliper like mx said. Also where the xhain rests ontop the swingarm its like a white plastic block i guess a chain guide or gaurd, well its wore pretty bad from the chain rubbing it(not the swingarm but thw plastic block) . Is this supposed to happen or do i need to buy one of those chain rollers tensors?

I ordered the brake pads couldn't find the name of the teflon swingarm chain gaurd so ill just order that next week, i rode for alil yesterday its a habit hitting that back brake and when it dont work and you forget it doesn't, its a pain in the a haha.
