the same oil u use in the crank case, u put it in the crank case and it circulates through the oil cooler and back into the crank case.

yeh lol it does it all buy it self mate u dont worry bou tthe cooler just put the right oil and the right ammount in and your set

ok cool
what about when im runniog it in, how long should i keep the mineral based oil in it for? should i fully fill it up with oil. ive heard you need to drain it every few rides while runnin it in. does tis mean ill have to use like 3 litres of oil , 1l per change .

u keep mineral bassed oil in it all the time at the most go semi synthetic not fully

i would use the oil in it for 1 hour then change then 2 hours then change then at about 5 hours then u are right to go should only take 1 hour or 1 tank to run in wateva comes first a tank or a hour make sure to give it short bursts of full throttle in all gears

i thought u shouldnt run the engine in on the oil that is in it, because it is supper bad stuff and is only in there for when its sitten in the warehouse so the inside's dosnt rust. drain the oil in it out and put sum thin mineral based oil (15-40 should be good) in it and change affter couple rides, then change again affter a few tanks of fuel then u can keep that oil in it for the rest on the run in or untill u think it needs changing, then u can go semi sinthetic, or depending on the engine. and through the run in give it short burst of throttle in each gear but dont but dont rev out your gears on long bits , so like just rip up the bak yard. that how i thought u should run in a new engine , like is realy good for then engine with the oil changes
