i am looking for suggestions for what to get my daughter, she has a PW80 now but she is turning 11 in a couple of weeks and i want to get her a bike she can ride more comftably. She has no intrest in going spastic fast, jumping etc . she just likes to follow me(wr400) and her bigger bro(yz85) around. I know the Motoverts are the brand to have but for her its a waste, so i have been looking around and was thinking of the LEI semiauto 90cc XK. I have no idea tho if they are any good and u hear so many horror storys i am just a bit worried.

so the question is whats out there thats an alright buy for her, i see a lot of comments about Atomiks on here to so....

help me out and point me in the direction of a bike thats going to last her for a while and she will enjoy at a pottering pace etc etc

then theres where to get it from... e-bay has a heap but is there better places to deal with(i'm in C-Qld)

cheers...

steff...............

theres a place in sydney called DHZ mini moto, they do shipping australia wide.

this might be an alright bike> DHZ Mini Moto - DHZ MINI 110

he is pretty negotiable with prices aswell..just hit him up with an offer, or ask for extras..hope that helps.

well if shes on a pw80 now y not upgrade to a klx140 and keep her on a name brand bike instead of down grading
^^^^ a cheap ebay mini will still have better brakes, suspension, handling and power than a PW80....

Dubcrazy, if she just wants something to put around on, and follow Dad, any of the ebay cheapies will do the job.
If she's happy with the power of the PW80, she should be ok with any of the basic minis up to 125cc..
TDR and Cobb and Co have some reasonably priced minis on ebay that feature all the "mod cons" like E-start, upside down forks, disks front and rear etc etc, and little girls being little girls, they look the goods as well which will keep her happy ;)
While there are better optioned, and more race-orientated minis on there, the 90,110 and 125cc offerings from TDR and Cobb & Co are a good cheap mini.

^^^^of the above, i'd be going for one of the "Cobb & Co" bikes... Got my missus' bike from them, found them good to deal with, and the bike is still kicking a year later with my missus trying to kill it every chance she gets. :)

As for reliability and longevity, like i keep drumming into people on here, the bike will last if the maintenance and initial set up is done properly.
When you find a bike for your girl, do the same set-up and maintenance you would do on a new jap bike. You mention you have a WR4, so i'd imagine you have a bit of knowledge and common sense when it comes to bike maintenance, and the same principals apply to china minis. With care and maintenance, they'll last long enough to keep your daughter happy til she upgrades again.
