Well it's time again to pull the motard motor down again and 'play'. upon opening i found pieces of metal (normal) muddy oil (typical) and this...

Note this is the piston out of the '17hp' motor :) not for much longer...lol
 
easy fix tho, just die grind that bit out of the piston....

the A7 must bring the valve down futher than the A2
 
WOW, you are guna have no problem with valve clearance & your compression is guna be up there...... i would say you will gain yet again more power with that one if you can stop the head gasket from blowing
 
looks same as my setup almost :) I haven't put the high comp piston in yet though.
you might want to polish that exhaust port up a bit more, sand wheel, wire brush, then felt pads all in dremel did mine nicely.

are you worried about TOO much compression with the head and piston? Just the head alone bumped my comp up quite a bit, and along with the HD valve springs makes it a bit hard to kick. Not sure I sitll want to put the piston in still even.

hmmmm valve to big recess in piston way to small gotta hate that one

high comp to the max i like it

told ya! . it was bent,

& you were still making power!!!! i'm guess 20hp with the new piston & valve that dont hit lol
