where the hell is the cdi?

i've got a 125 ducar and am in the process of wiring it up, but i don't know where the cdi is.
the wires i have coming from near the spinny bit on the LHS are red/black, yellow, green, white, blue/white and next to the spinny bit coming from under something the wires are green/black, red/blue, green/red, red or orange (can't tell) and maroon or brown.
what the hell do i do?

My atomik came with some circuit diagrams in the owners book. Have a look there??

ive got a lifan and theres a green, red/black, green/orange, yellow, white, blue wire and they just plug into the corresponding wires on the other end hope this helps but you probably need to find a proper diagram or something

skintag-i bought it second hand. i've never seen one up close before so i don't know if it's missing anything.
tubes380-i've found a few but i don't know if they're the right ones.
i'll see if i can get a pic. doesn anyone have any pics of their wiring?

thanks mini me racing. i think mine is a 4 wire without a battery. i still don't know where the cdi is though. does anyone have a pic of the whole engine with basic parts labelled?

if your looking for the cdi it should be a little plastic black box thats mounted under your seat unless its aftermarket which are usually alloy anodised some colour

tubes380-it's only a motor not a whole bike.
trashthumpy-i've already got that one and a couple of others, thanks anyway though.

i had a look at my mates one tonight and i think i'll need an entire wiring loom or i need a coil and cdi and do the rest myself.

the guy i bought it off said something about electric start. are the wires in the second pic for that? my mates one didn't have any of those wires.
