Hi all Im new to this. Im looking at buying a 125cc on ebay but there is so many different ones. Its for my 15yo. thumpstar, orion, atomik etc. Which one is best? Just for trail riding no jumps. Around $800. Nothing flash just for some fun. Cheers Carl

to be honest if i was buying i bike id be sticking well away from ebay but thats just how i ride and im a lil rough XD

but saying that my first bike was from ebay and was pritty good.. =)

i think you can find something cheep on ebay that looks alright and is what your looking for maybe an atomik or so then if its cheep just pick it up.

the main problem with these bikes is the break down due to no love and tender care.. so if you always keep and eye on it and as your say its not gunna be used for jumps and REGALLY do some maintenance on it you should be pritty right for awhile

you will find on ebay that most of the "thumpsters" on there are copys and arnt going to be much better than an atomik or such but if you can spare the extra money have a look at the bikes that the sites sponsers sell:

good luck with it.. just have a search round and if you see a particular bike for sale pop the add or a link up here and im sure we can point out the pros and cons!

i think you can pick up a DHZ 140 on ebay for around $800

more like $567 plus say 120 for postage and they go alot better then 125cc's

Any bikes to keep clear of. Im just going to watch prices over the next few days on ebay. There are so many to choose from atomik avenger dhz thumpstar etc. Im a bit confused. Cheers

DHZ bikes will give u good value for money and u will spend less than $800 total, which will leave u with some money for anything that may break. If u go for the base model DHZ 140 u will have to upgrade the tyres as they are **** and will give u constent punctures. Good tyres will cost u about $80+ so keep that in mind.

Have a look at the MSO 125 mate. BTW that vid is hilarious. Bet he wishes he didn't try to save a few bucks by buying his bike from eBay now

A few ebay sellers I would advise to stay away from only due to the poor quality of there bikes are:
A and S online powerseller
Foxico

Thats all I can think of at the moment.

So stick to DHZ or Pitpro
