Hey guys iv got an atomik reign 150cc. The standard rear shock has got the rubber bush type eyes on it. Have started to flog out and now theres freeplay in swingarm movement, so i am looking for a new shock to replace it. Anyway, looking on ebay, "fastace" shocks look like the go. They come in lengths of 270mm and 280mm only from what i can tell. I have measured mine(without taking it off the bike and doing it properly.) and its approx 310-320mm long from centre of the eyelet on one end to centre of the eyelet on the other end.

Does this sound right? has anyone got the same bike and have changed the shock? what did u buy>?

cant help with sizes and that, but alot of people run fastace and sum dnm (i think everyone says these 2 are the best?) dnm are quite expensive but are higher quality. i think elstar products also sell fastace but im not sure on how they are to deal with

cheers

Took it off and measured it properly this arvo. From centre of one eyelet to the other it is definitely 310mm in length. An odd size from what it seams :( ill keep an eye out however, hopefully find something.

liljohn_92 How exactly do you make up your own bushes? Would probably have to get a machine shop to do it for you? Has anyone had this done? Or?

DNM is a great shock and MSO have them at a good price although im not sure what length they have in stock but most models of DNM shocks do come in lengths upto 310mm long.

ya could measure the hole size and the size of the bolt and get metal sleeves made up for it and then you never have to worry about bushes again
