    Hi fellas, my dpro160 has developed a bit of a problem when it gets fully warmed up it won't idle or run at low rpm for any length of time. when it's cold or not quite warmed up it runs fine. It's got a 26mm OKO flatside on it and i've taken the carby off and cleaned it but that didn't help so...

    Starting at DHZ DPro 140

    i found that with that carb on my dpro160 as i kicked it at the same time i had to go full throttle or it wouldn't go then once its goes you just let the throttle go back to idle. Similar to what sean said i guess

    Problems while in second

    well got my new shift drum and gear set on monday. I took a little bit off the shift drum shaft so its a bit tighter in there now and all is good so far hopefully is stays that way

    how do you shim a gearbox, is there like a procedure on how to it? What do you use as shims? where do you get shims? any help would be great

    I measured the shift drum end play as accurately as i could and its about 0.4-0.5mm. what should it be?

    yeah i'll check the clutch first but the swing arm is tight and the mount bolt are FT.

    quick question do you absolutely pull the head and all that off when you split the case or is there a way round it? also bit of an update i've been emailing DHZ and they think it might be the shift drum causing the problem. guess i'll find out when i open it up

    sorry forgot to mention its a DHZ dpro160 so i got it from DHZ. its probably more like a month old but i work away so its only been used for a couple of weeks. i'll send em an email can't hurt to ask

    yeah its only doing it in second the chain came off while doing a burn out so wasn't to bad i didn't even notice till i went to take off again lol. i've got a fair selection of tools so i should be right unless you need some special things

    from what your saying i think 2nd is rooted cause if i hold the throttle constant it jerks around and when i'm up it in 2nd it revs up like its slipping but i haven't heard any crunching making me think it was the clutch. i'll pull it apart tomorrow and have a look. should i be looking at the...
