Hi guys, Lately after a long days riding, i'm finding the heavy clutch pull action to get very tiring. i've felt other clutches and mine is heavier than most. bike is a dpro 160. just wondering what options there were to try make it a little easier to pull. Thanks Danny

well just got back from my ride. had an absolutely awesome day! bike was flawless, really strong power and it ran strong all day long. no more popping under deceleration. throttle is clean and crisp all the way through the rev range. cheers for all the help guys!

ok well i checked for any leaks, there's was a tiny air leak at the inlet manifold. the rubber o ring that came with the oko didn't fit properly, and was in bad shape from factory. i replaced that. pulled the exhaust off again and tried re-fitting, it will not go up any more, possibly a dodgy...

nah mate it's still popping a bit under deceleration. it pretty bad to start with, but after fiddling with the mixture screw a bit it's much better, but still popping when i come off the throttle.

DHZ: yeah i used that method to tighten it, im sure the pipe is against the copper ring, and the ring is against the head, i pulled the ring out just then and it's all been squashed evenly, there's a perfect round indentation on both sides where it's sealing. i rekon i'll grab some of that...

well just pulled the whole exhaust off and had a look at the gasket, only 3/4 of it had been crushed, so the header wasn't on flat, this is because when i did it last time, the rear muffler was still held in by the bolt, so this time i tightened the headers completely first, then did the rear...

yeah im pretty sure it is mate, ive done the nuts up pretty much as tight as i can, and there's still about a 12mm gap between the flange and the head. i've uploaded a pic of the gap, thats an 8mm spanner. would you advise wrapping the head of the pipe in plumbers tape just to make sure it's...

yeah it was idling slightly high, i turned it down a bit, but still glowing red. im just holding the bike upright while its idling. hopefully the oko fixes it. i just dont want it doing any major engine damage by running so lean at the moment

just an update, i fitted the new exhaust gasket and did the valve clearances. it's still running hot. started her up cold and just let her idle, exhaust started glowing a bit after about 2 mins of idling. got a oko 26mm on the way, hopefully it fixes the issue. any other possible problems you...

yeah mods have already started! i've already put a did chain on it, protapers, better tyres and i've got an oko 26mm on the way! not to mention replacing a lot of the nuts and bolts to better quality ones just for some extra piece of mind
