Ya i agree with masterspoon, your bars should have nothing to do with the idle or stalling, unless you streched your throttle cable and it reved consatantly , which is opposite of what your having. Non the less , id check your air/fuel and your idle.

If your going to use this method, Be very careful not to strip those heads, or your really gunna have a fun time.

Well there is two sides to the story. YES they're suppose to be shipped with breakin oil. How ever some manufactures only ship it with shipping oil, like mentioned above, where its only purpose is to prevent rusting. My thoughts, if it matters. lol I work with import bikes on a regular basis...
