Pull your fuel hose off at the carb and see if you have good flow. Might be a bit of plastic in the tank blocking the outlet

Was it a hard stall or a splutter and stall? Hard stall=clutch Splutter=probily fueling problem. Either blockage or tuning

You could try masking where the chain contacts. Might keep the paint on longer

yeah its an o'ring seal. Take the stator plate down to your local bearing mob and they should be able to find one for you

Some 2 strokes do have a seperate sump (piston port engines ie GT200 suzuki)

Johns right, if you have oil in it you can spin it over to see if it sparks

Check the wiring over with a test light to make sure you have power happening when and where it should be and i know thsi sounds silly but check your kill switch...ive seen a few people spend days trying to fix a bike without making sure the kill switch was on lol

Ok about that 4 pot 125, I think it might be chain drive from the crank to a dummy shaft where the original crank was located but it must be geared down hence alot of rev and no go,

And infront of your face, such are the evils of this sort of build
