    Motovert oil cooler probs!!!!

After only a few rides, my oil cooler started pissing oil all over the exhaust, then the replacement ( under warranty ) cooler did the same thing after only a couple opf hours riding. They're made of extruded alluminium sections clamped together between a couple of cast alloy sections, and both...

Need assistance identifying something on 125cc pit bike.

I'm no carby expert, and don't claim to be right in this case, but do check your jet. I've had the same prob with many postie bikes that I've owned, and it's always been a blocked idle jet. It's the smaller of the two that I guess your carb. has ( the one in the pic. has three )

Need assistance identifying something on 125cc pit bike.

If you want to look at the jets, take the carb out, undo the screws that hold the bowl on, remove the float and needle, then ( with the top cap / slide out ) look for light coming through the centre of the two brass jets. if you can't see light it's blocked. If it's like a postie carb, one will...

I'd say you have a blocked idle jet, pull the bowl off the carbie, unscrew the two brass jets, if you can't see light through them clean it out with compressed air or a wire brush strand. Good luck Stu

    Induction noise!

It's so bloody loud, 'gives me the shits!!! I did a search but didn't find much, has anyone bought or made up an airbox for a little 125? I have a z50-style plastic one that I'll try when I dig it out of the shed, but I don't expect that to be a neat fit. Any ideas? Thanks Stu

These are the factory tyres, I only went for a short ride on them before swapping to knobs, so i don't know that it handles better on roadies. Soon I'll have these, plus a 12"/14" knobby set.

I ride a VFR800 on the road, and I've ridden postie bikes on the road for years too. This little jigger has a seat height no lower than a postie, so I don't think it's less visible. It's really good to get around on in traffic, and 80KMH is easy but I don't want to push the new engine too hard...

moto vet RX road legal July 7th

I got a couple of prices, both around $3K + on-roads = $3500. It's a lot of brass, but I don't care, I just wanted to get a mini on the road. I already had the custom plate. I'll pick up a spare set of wheels next week, so I can chuck knobbies on easily. Stu

I picked one up yesterday, will test it out on the weekend. I had a blast 'round Brunswick on the demo model. It's ugly, but it fits in the back of the car, and it's fun!!!!! Stu
