The Track is limited to 150cc, so do not bring any 160's.

You dont need Full leathers! Draggin jeans and "Pressure suit" type Body amour is acceptable.

Please visit Bikes

hmmm so tempting
why is there the limit to 150cc?
i have a really quick 111cc would that be usable?

Its limited to 150cc, that means any engine size up to 150cc so you can use your 110, 125, 140 & 150 just as long as you dont exceed 150cc.

If there is a dispute during a race meeting, you may be asked to remove your cylinder head for comfirmation.

Dates are as Follows:

4th April Location T.B.A
17th May Wollongong
27th / 28th June Mini Moto Nationals Wollongong
12th July Wollongong
9th August Wollongong
12th September Location T.B.A
18th October Wollongong
28th / 28th Twilight Nationals
20th November Presentation

Please remember that NO 160cc bikes will be allowed to race, that includes the National title's 27th / 28th June.

thanks for the info NRG will look into when we might be able to Rd trip down. It is posible to Accurately measure capacity of a motor without removing the head. First remove the spark plug and then use a fitting that matches the plug thread and a tube (bit like a scientific pipette or container attached to tube) with cc marks stand the bike up on back wheel, set motor to bottom dead centre and then fill with a fluid (I’d think a thick oil would be the go) then turn crank to TDC and measure the cc’s of fluid displaced then you know very accurately the exact cc’s of the motor. This method was explaned to me by our club prez, thanx Lindsey;), aparently this is the same method that the speedway guys use. It would allow a pass or fail guide that is easy to implement without needing to strip a motor

Yeah, sure............sounds like it would be the go, but i dont make the rules.

I hear that the guys from Victoria who place 1st, 2nd & 3rd automatically get their engines pulled down after every race meet, just to check if their exceeding the set CC's. Seems a little excessive to me, but...........hey..............those Victorians always seemed a little strange to me.

80% sure ill be bringing the camera down to the nationals.

Should be good :D

When I was racing Karts it was accepted that the first few were likely to have the head removed from motor to check ports etc but that’s on 2 strokes seems unnecessary to me to strip a 4 stroke just to check capacity. I wasn’t saying you should change rules it was just that I thought that maybe whoever was trying to set this up hadn’t thought of another way. Lindsey and I discussed this for the same reason so we can make sure that the bikes in 140cc china class here are 140cc). I know that if I travelled down to take part in a days racing and I knew that the likelihood of me having my motor striped if I was at the front just to check capacity, I'd possible make sure I wasn’t at the front. The idea of having to either travel home with my motor in bits or sit in a motel or sit in the pits to reassemble isn’t real appealing.
The other thing we are running a 140cc+ class that is for bikes that are over 140cc they can be 150cc/160cc with kits, it is an open development class, basically for any bike that doesn’t fit into 140cc china class or the up to 100cc jap class.

I know of lot of racers, and they all agree on this one.

No REAL Racer would ever object to their cylinder head been removed to comfirm capacity.

Lets be really clear on this:

1. If there is a dispute raised in relation to another racer's bike during a race meeting, then the race official's have the right to ask for an engine inspection.
2. The person raising the dispute must put down a sum of $100.00 or more
3. The person to which the dispute concerns, can accept or deny the inspection.
4. If the inspection is denied, then that person's points for the day may be stripped or they may be barred from further racing.
5. If the inspection proves no foul play, the the money is given to that bike owner.
6. If the inspection proves cheating, then that person will be fined and points points stripped.

These rules are put in place so NO cheating occurs, and if you have a problem with it, then its quite simply ....................................DON'T RACE!

This is the only way that the race official's conduct these inspection's.
