Guys im digging up this thread as im having a similar problem. Trying to change the front sprocket 16 tooth to 17 tooth. Are there different size retaining clips?, cause my one wont line up I assume the sprocket sits on the spline then the clip on the other spline?? or does it sit in between both splines??
