140XR Bolts?

Hey guys,

New to pit bikes and the forum.

I recently bought myself a PitPro 140XR. When we assembled it, there were 2bolts that go underneath but don't seem to serve much of a purpose. I think they are there to support the bar that runs across which the foot pegs attach to. Anyway, the internal nuts aren't threaded properly i.e. they flatten the thread on the bolts. I tried inserting a new bolt that I bought here, bot but still no good.

Do they really do anything? Or, can I just leave them off?

yea man they serve **** all purpose no need for em

thats cos the thread is stripped. you will need to retap it with a hand tap. fairly simple job

if its the cradle mount frame if you got 2 bolts holding them on that plenty i reckon put them in diagonal one at the front 1 on the opisite side at the back and it should be fine , i think i got 1 bolt it wobbles around abit but still jump it and havnt snapped yet so 2 should be fine
