Hello to all.

I'm new to this site as have just purchased my first motorbike.

As the title states, its a TDR 150cc bike.
I bought it as a cheap bike for cheap thrills and as it being my first bike something to learn on. (haha, yes an ebay special)

After reading more reviews on this site AFTER i had bought the bike i realise that its probably not the best option and as its cheap China crap as i have continually read on this site (which makes me giggle) i'm not particularly bothered by that. :)

I had read on another thread, i also thinking that this bike came with an Lifan motor, i got a Shineray :( (piece of crap apparently)

These bikes are relatively new out and so i guess there will be many more people to follow doing and wanting to know the same.

I have read and done all the running in, new oil (Castrol Activ 4T) and valve clearances.

I would like to know what bike this would be based off so i can get an idea as to what parts will fit it (Exhausts, plastics etc)

This being the 150cc, will 125cc IRK's and other associated parts fit?

Yes me being a noob doesn't know this, only know what i have read and tried to search on this site so far.

Here are some pics anyway.

Tony

Welcome to Miniriders. Im sorry to hear about you buying an A&S bike but your not alone coz there are many people out there that have done the exact same thing. Buy now research later is the usual story but not to worry because as this is your first bike you will need to learn how to fix and maintain it. So keeping that in mind it was a good choice coz your going to need to spend a bit of time with the spanners.

Shops such as DHZ are your friend when it comes to replacing/upgrading parts and there are many people on here that will answer all your questions and point you in the right direction, including our resident Techies.

Best of luck bro

the bike itself is based of a klx, so klx plastics and seat will fit.

the engine is a crf based china engine.
IRK, ORK and any klx exhaust to suit crf head will fit..

as for performance upgrades, which you will be asking yourself later down the track.
lifan 150 outer rotor kit - this is better than the IRK as helps reduce kickback and retains torque as well as allowing the engine to spin up a little quicker than standard.. RACING OUTROTOR KIT, ADJUST TIMING, SEMI-DIGI CDI, HARNESS - DHZ Mini Moto

oko 26mm carb kit - best carb this sort of money can buy OKO 26mm FlateSlide Race Carby Kit - DHZ Mini Moto

and a performance exhaust - like this one but to suit klx frame Big Bore Alloy Performance Exhaust System 125cc 140cc CRF50 - DHZ Mini Moto

also make sure you upgrade the chain and do regular services to it at least every 10-15hrs of riding...

being a cheap bike means if you dont look after it wont look after you..

have fun mate

Thanks for your help guys, Exactly the sort of info i was after :)

I picked the bike up for only $600 and has been pretty good so far.

Have taken it just theis weekend gone up to the Riverland for a good flogging and has still held up well.
Have to love the fact that it fits in the back of the Discovery too for transporting it around :)
