For sale - very regretful sale but it doesnt get used nearly enough. 1979 sr500. Very custom and a big head turner.
list of mods as follows -
- stripped and painted frame, wheels, swing arm
- new wheel bearings
- new mitas dual sport tyres 300kms old
- new headstem bearings
- gt 80 tank with rd400 graphics
- r6 front caliper with custom bracket
- posh mini switches with internal wiring
- new rexspeedshop cdi from uk
- new rexspeedshop coil from uk
- stator checked over by small rewinds geelong
- brand new fork tubes from mikesxs in the states
- 2 inch lowering kit from hughs handbuilt in the states
- led rear blinkers recessed into seat rails
- daytona front blinkers
- k & n air filter and oil breather
- daytona grips
- motor has been rebuilt by previous owner
- new swing arm bearings
- starts first kick everytime
- batteryless, runs capacitor
- new gear change lever
- new horn
- new mini speedo from mikesxs
- custom seat pan and retrimmed by shop
- brand new cb400 front master cylinder
Does drop one or two drops of oil after a ride but nothing really.

have propably missed something. it only has 300kms on since I regod it 1 yr ago hence the sale. I would rather see if ridden then sit in the shed covered up.
no swaps and looking for 7k ono. Not worried if it dont sell as ill keep it so im not going to give it away.
