250 v 450

I'm in the same boat as motorman, in that I'm more into riding wide tracks, rather than tight cornering and what-not.

I think I might have a look into a 250 2 Stroker!
I've always loved two strokes for their sound anyway! xD

If you can ride a 2 dinger hard you can ride anything.

Because nobody wants a KTM I think it's more so that a 250 2T is a bit more common.

You're not restricted to KTM, there's 3 or 4 300cc 2 smokers I can think of... There's certainly a prevelance of 250's though

i just turned 19 and ive had a crf250 and crf450... 450's are noticebly more powerful... but 250's have more then enough grunt... once you can ride round the track pinned on a 250 then get a 450...you can throw the 250 around so much easier than a 450
