was doing a few laps of the track today and the bike kept throwing the chain. after about 6 times re-tensioning the rear wheel(which is a motovert and took forever to get lined up with spacers)the bike was grinding in second gear and then throwin the chain off. 1st 3rd 4th were fine but 2nd, grind, than chain comes off. i cant work it out. btw the rear axle has a small bend in it so maybe this has something to do with it. any help?

ive never had a problem with the chain failling off due to a bent axel.. my mate had a pitpro125cc.. the axel was so bent like a banana when you tentioned the rear axel it was self chain adjusting.. lol

hey mate, i had the same problem with my 125 pitpro, every time i changed to second gear the chain just flew off. im not totally sure but the first time it came off it smashed a bit of the engine cover apart, i dunno if that was what was throwing the chain off and it was just coincidentle that it happened in second gear, but once i removed the loose bit off engine cover it was sweet, no probs since...

hey there mate i had the same problem with my bike
the gear was grindin and clickin and it turned out the gear selector inside the motor was bent

cheers thanx guys. btw gear selector prob means splitting cases yeah. Prolly easier to get new engine. i havent ridden for bout a week as i need new handlebars and am freakin broke(in between jobs-going onto boats in 10 days).
