50cc or 110cc

I really want to get into minibiking
i'm in NewZealand
i'm 14 and want to know whether to get a 50 or a 110
i want to do jumps not big ones and just have a great time
i don't have much moola only about $1000nzd to spend

Sorry to say mate but the one in that link u posted is a pile of crap and will fall to peices. It dosent look like youve got much choice over there with that amount of money but it would be worth saving ua bit more and getting somthing like this one.

At 14 I would forget about 50s and look at 110cc or better still a 125cc. I had a quick look thru NZ ebay (trademe) and you do not have a lot to choose from and they are quite pricey. I found one for NZ$1750 that you can get here for AUD$700 so it is hard to give you advise on what is a good buy. You should talk your family into moving to Australia so your minibke ambitions can be fulfilled.

If you can get a Pit Pro 125rr or similar landed for less than this (it is very similar to a pitpro RR)

It might be worth it, speak with customs in NZ first regarding import costs and if there is any restrictions. My gut feeling is that if it was easy and cheap there would be plenty of cheap bikes direct from china in NZ already.
