O.K.

Sorry. I am not all that familiar with the "rules" of the site. My bad. I will try to find them and do some reading before posting again.

I think I have made it pretty clear that I am not trying to advertise anything or anyone. I have not mentioned any other store/product besides DHZ to avoid any confusion over this.

If my initial or subsequent posts were offensive to anyone or outside the "rules" of the site. I apologise for this. It was not my intention.

In a nutshell, I didn't appreciate the dismissive way I was dealt with at a retail outlet and felt the need to share this with others who may require the product/service I required.

That is pretty much it on the down side.

I also felt there was a need to mention the other end of the spectrum and the great service I received from " the store that shall remain nameless".

I expect good service wherever I go and wherever I shop. I am very happy to pay for it as well.

Just wanted to share really and thought this information may help by adding to the massive amount of information on the site already.

I may have been a little out of line with my advertising remark. However, I believe it was posted as a question and in no way presented as factual. If you read through my posts I am sure you will see this.

Far out mate it ain't hard. No need to read site rules. This is coming from the admin of the site!!

Plug the company that helped you out and bag the one that didn't. The idea is to give POSTIVE comments to buisness's that have helped you out. Go for gold mate. Doesn't need to remain nameless. ;)

O.K.

The store which went far beyond the call of duty was, Shamrock Mower and Motorcycle repairs on the Bowral side of Mittagong.

I live in Sydney and was just driving through on my way to Kangaroo Valley.

The mechanics name was Will. He was 3rd generation at the store and didn't give me any rubbish about having a Chinese bike as I thought he probably would. He actually spoke quite highly of them, which surprised me. Its my sons bike anyway.

Sorry to have annoyed some people or not posted in the correct format.

The general drift you get from reading this thread is "Don't take a 10" wheel to DHZ to get a tyre changed because they don't like messin' around with them" ...

Maybe DHZ will get on and give their side of the story ? ... It'd be a good idea if they did ...

I can tell people one thing ... I visited their Villawood store not so long ago ... It was a hot day and in the afternoon it was stinking hot inside there ... I'll admit I wouldn't have been too interested in changing a 10" tyre by hand either ...
