is it just bolt off old bolt in new cause i got told that if you dont install it right it will farkk up?

why are you replacing your old one??

divy whats your email and ill send you a how to that i put together a little while ago when i fitted my irk

id put it up on here but dont know how/couldnt be bothered atm so yeh if you want tell us your email and ill send you it and maybe you can put it up

yeh divy you better post it up lol...i need to know aswell!!:D

Hey mate you need an impact driver. There is no other way to get them out and if you have one and they wont budge then your not using the tool right. Get a hold of one and push in and rotate in the anti clockwise direction then hit with hammer. Do this before you destroy the screws trying some dodgey other method!

when i install the irk is it worth putting in a lightend oil slinger????

nah, the new irk has a smaller flywheel (big gold thing) and weighs a lot less, and crazzy i did use a flywheel (magneto) puller, was jst having truble with the next step, but persistance is the key, got them off finally, i dont know much about the lightened oil slinger but would like to know if it would be usefull with a new irk

i desperatley need help !! )-: i just instaled an irk and i put a test light on the black wire and had no juice and same on the white one... shouldnt there be power in at least one of the wires??? or do you have to hook up the cdi box first for it to work.... can anyone please help

try the black one to earth (the whole engine) and same with the white one
from memory one is the power line and one is the sensor pretty sure the white one is the sensor.
also make sure you earth the cdi otherwise it wont work.
hope this helps it a bit vauge cos i done mine a couple of weeks ago

divy, did a bit of research and a lighter oil slinger is good to have when putting on the lighter flywheel, because one side is lighter than the other your crank can snap spinning at such high revolutions. so the lighter oil slinger balances the crank
