FOR FUCK SAKES! Sorry for another thread guys but now my bike won't start properly. I was cleaning the carby out today because there was shit in there which was causing it to overflow out of the breather. I finally fixed it and thought "thank God". Then went to start it up...wouldn't start.

It did after about 15 tries with the choke on!

I noticed when I was spaying it with the carby cleaner that I hit the soft filter thing towards the back of the carby and the 2 halves of the soft thing became unstuck. I stuck them back together though. I don't think that would be the problem anyway but I just thought I'd put it in.

This is past what I know. I don't know what to do :(

Can anyone please help me?

Oh and heaps of you guys would know now from all my threads but it's a 125cc Pitpro.

Yeh, I think I fucking did.

my bike doesnt start with the choke on for some reason, starts ok with it off.

I couldn't get it going with it off either. :|

soft filter thing? highlight it on a photo

does fuel come out of the carbys bowl if you open the drain screw? and do you have spark?

This is the soft thing.

Fuel came out when I loosened the drain screw. I Know what a spark plug is but where abouts is it on the bike?

If its does 10-15 hours work from new, it may need valve clearances done. Tight valves often cause hard start. Also If the float as been fitted back into the carby upside down that will often not allow enough fuel into it to start.

I found the spark plug. I took the rubber hose bit off it so I could see a spark but I couldn't see one. It's the same with my bro's though too. His bike works still but we couldn't see a spark.

How exactly do you check to see if it's sparking and how do you get the spark plug off? There's not enough room to unscrew it with a spanner.

Stick a screwdriver up the plug socket & hold the metal shaft just off the cylinder head & try to start. You should see a spark between the screwdriver shaft & cylinder head. You can also fit a spare plug, if you have one, into the socket & hold the plug against the engine...Its easier with 2 people if you only have a kick starter.
Warning dont hold the metal part of the screwdriver else you will get a shock.

Sorry to say Dozza but you should'nt be touching a Motorcycle!!!!
it's clear as day you know nothing about engines & you will cause more troubles as you go along...... my suggestion is to get a mate/family member/motorcycle shop to do these things for you, or at least get some1 to give you a crash corse on basic motorcycle part placement & how to check spark n such

I've been trying to find places that will work on them but none of the fucking arse hole pricks will. Also this is my first motorbike, never had one before so that's why I know nothing about them and from what I've seen it's a fucking piece of shit. They shouldn't send bikes that fuck up like this.

I won't be touching it anymore though. I'll keep trying to find a place.

Yeh it suck's about 75% of china bikes do this, & the worst part is that they are realy only minor problems that can be fixed with the average tool box.

like i tell every one that ask's me there are okay if you set them up & tune them correctly. I hope you find some one to fix your problems so you can go hit the dirt!!

if u have fuel running out of the carby when u release the overflow screw the floats are working correctly more than likely u have flooded the motor if the fuel is coming out of the air filter also if the air filter is wet the bike will run rough if it starts at all

check the color of spark plug, it shouldn't be black or white, more of a sort of browny color, sometimes u hav 2 give it more kicks, mi bike it like weird, does your like not go down for like 3 times & then the 4th time it will godown (the kick starter) thats wat mine does, i hav seen vids where the guys starts it & it has nothing like that, a bike just like mine.

if it is 2 stroke u may hav mixed 2 strong, u can't change it either by just putting more in of the other, the fuel that already go into the carby stays there & it takes FOREVER to get out, mi lil bro's 2 stroke won't start, this weekend we r gonna attatch a tube right in2 the carby & feed it more petrol.
don't listen to hillz, he's jut worried that a girl can beat him on a motorbike, jk. i hope u fix ur problem, believe me, i know how frustrating it gets when ur bike ain't working, the other day it was a PERFECT day but we couldn't go, u see perfect weather for dirtbike riding, just happens to also be perfect for flying, mi dad is a pilot & always goes flying when he can.

Yeah! Mine and my bros both do that.

From what I could see with the spark plug(I didn't take it out) It was white, but so was my bros I think and his works fine.

How am I supposed to get the spark plug out fully, a spanner won't reach in there.

Oh and my bike is a 4 stroke, not 2 stroke.

where abouts are you based at dozza!?? for a motorbike shop NOT to accept any bike into the workshop isnt right!!? thats money they are loosing!

have to agree with hillz, if you couldnt work out where the spark plug was or how to check to see if you have spark, its better left to someone with a bit of knowledge..

have you contacted the place of purchase? be polite, be specific in your questions and if possible email them with clear photos and a diagnostic of what you have done..

It will more than likely be a simple problem that frustrates you to the utmost degree but once its sorted you will know how to fix it later. If you have listened and paid attention. Keep persisting at tracing the source of your troubles.

Good luck with it and keep us posted.

edit: just saw your post.. oh o..
ok 99.9% of spark plugs are white(im guessing your looking at the end the cap goes on lol.. its like a porcelin(great for smashing windows in a wrecked cars) you need to get the plug out. to do this you will need a PLUG SPANNER.. MAKE sure it fits correctly!!

judging by the little to no experiance you have with working on mechanicals id suggest calling someone who does, or finding a shop to accept your woes.. be prepaired to have to pay upto $100 at a shop.. depending on what they have to do..
PLEASE, for the sake of your bikes health, DO NOT attempt to work on it alone or without supervision from someone who has at least changed a plug prior! PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE!!

Keep us updated...
