G'day guys, Sorry for not posting in the Classifides section bit i figure not many people would bother selling what i want.

Im looking for a 110 -125cc pittbike with a messed up front end for a personal project. Specifically all im after is rear frame with swingarm and a working engine. possibly carb and fuel tank if its still on it. Would prefer if it was in sydney.

If you have anything or everythign im after please drop me a line

Ride hard, Drink responsibly........ or visaversa either way works.

drink hard, deffinately drink hard.

how much you wanting to spend mate bit more information would help.

not after anything fancy, would be looking at around $250 but it all depends on whats on offer. engine needs to be fairly decent but id be fine with a Ducar or lifan. And a heavy ass over engineered steel frame would be best.

what exactly are you doing with it? making a quad or something? theres some company that makes a kit for doing this...three and four wheel conversions...

and if you are doing something like this...look up steering geometry as well... then post pics!!!!!!!

anyone with a welder can over engineer a steel frame;)

dont actually have anything spare myself, sorry.

Im actually looking to turn it into a winch for wakeboarding.. i.e. replacing the rear wheel with a spool etc.

i think youll need more grunt mate , how ya gunna change gears ?

dont use a two stroke:eek:

i never would have thought of it and thats exactly what we did years ago with a suzuki across 250...except it was a surfboard and a dam... big dam...almost 100metres

but wow...in third gear you could not hang on once it got to 5 grand...:p hurt to come off as well

replaced shocky with a solid bar, chopped swingarm to take a car rim, and bolted it all down to a handy rock...wish i had some pics.

good luck:)

I seen some blokes actually using their 4wd winch across a dam in yarrambat a few months ago... they got a fair pace up to! certainly an interesting way of doing things.. but I dunno.. isnt the 'idea' behind wakeboarding, to actually have a wake!?! would be just like skatboarding, possibly closer to skim boarding otherwise....

using a quad

8Hp homemade..

using a 110/125 might be a lil $hitty....

id look into a 2 stroke or large cap. 4 stroke.. 750cc ;)

make sure you post ya progress on this.. certainly looks like an interesting idea..

good luck with it :)

nah, the two strokes band will just flip you everytime... almost no load once it gets you moving....

and dont worry about the lower gears... just start in third or so and let the clutch out...fast or slow depending on the rider of course...

yes... post all progress!!!!

where are you again? might know someone...

meh, sydney...i see...maybe close. ill do some headbanging maybe...if i get to have a go:p
