I'll come out on Sat morning to take some pix. Heading out to Morgan Park in the arvo to watch the classic race. Not sure about Sun as there is a street bike drag on (as raze mentioned) so may head out there and give the 848 a hiding!

i will be testing this bike . hope the old chain dont break ,it will even have extra links in it . but thats racing and shit happenens.
i think this bike is worthy of fotm. i may detail it up.
its got some gear on it . mazzoki shiver forks ,elka rear shock ,fmf pipe, taki head, kitako ignition .
see ya sat londin ,could you do times again?
hope your bike is sorted nocrf .what ya doing with old carb?
dont know how long i'll have this bike for .sad face.

was very interesting riding the minitard again. I found the feel of the bike very un-nerving compared to my big tard.hopefully in a few more rides i will be more used to it. good luck this weekend guys!

DaFunk: Extra links? Watch out in regards to your wheel to wheel distance! It may trap you a bit in doing the corners! Just my 2 cent!
See you guys on Sat - i'm in NZ this week....dame bloody cold!

Londin - if you check my Link you will find the Streetbike Shootout is on Saturday - gates open at 11am - Hope you can make it.

Saturday you say...thought it was Sunday! Hmm - better re-do my plans then!

londin , this bike has a longer wheelbase [mid size]. and i have to move wheel back more ,it hits the rear shock.
your right it could be harder to turn. especially when changing directions quickly. am concered but hope the extra power will make the difference .
also forks are feeling more like nocrfs so that should help turn in

u could try and hunt down a set of triples with a smaller offset if u want better turn in

good idea but front wheel to cylinder head clearace issue.
i dont think the extra wheelbase will slow me down in chage of direction too much .
time will tell . this bike is off its tits!!! it will be power sliding for sure.just hope i can stay upright.

even like 2mm smaller offset will make a noticible difference without changing the clearance to much

where do you get em from ? how do you know what ya getting?
this thing makes so much hp i think the extra stability will help.
a bike this size could help a bigger rider also.

i think u will just have to ring around and get them to measure the offset, fork diameter. there was a guy on here who had his modified changing the offset. If there is enough meat on the clamps it can be done and its a common thing to be done on big tards

what about rake and trail measurements ? there are quite a few options.
the long wheel base cannot be adjusted easily me thinks.

try the triples and go from there. generally if it was a big bike you would shorten it and lower it but not sure that would work with a mini.
