would be good to get more tards out there..

racing starts straight after practice..

should proberly practise more at the club day? see how it all goes .

had a good time on the weekend. the big bike isn't to bad on the little track. The big issues for it are lack of run-off & lack of grip. I reckon i could go a fair bit faster if the run-off was there. Hurting myself isn't on my list of things to do. Did some good laps with out pushing and the dirt section was fun to mix up the laps.

I think that i will be quicker on the 140 cause i will be able to ride alot closer to the limit. We def take the big bike out again though

great to hear jovi .!! i'll be there with both . i agree minis will be quicker.
for safety i think we need to be more organised re dirt section , we are all supose to do the same thing . ie dirt or no dirt . i think this will be more of a problem as there are more bikes getting around now . it will only take 1 incident then we wont be able to do the dirt . as long a we all agree then its on , either way is good . maybe we could start on 2nd dirt section aswell!!!

yeah the dirt i think makes the track alot safer for the big bikes. Bitumen only U can carry to much speed into turn one with very little area to slow down. Backing it in to there was fun but at the same time the speed you have to carry to get it right was a bit silly with the run off available. On the big bike its best attacked as a bit of fun and more as training/learning than going for out right speed. Still lots of fun riding the tight techincal track. I ran 13/47 gearing and was only using mainly second gear and alittle of third on the straights. I could ride the whole track in 2nd though. but it would make the braking etc to hard and keeping traction quite hard with the revs right up.

I am more keen to ride the 140 out there but will most likely bring the 450 for a run in the last session or something. Towards the end of the practice it would be cool to run the dirt section as there are less people. I forgot how fun that track can be!

hell yeah you were so fast into turn one ! looked very impressive !! i tought the final corner would be the scariest?
i'll do the same as you, re swapping bikes . i to want to focus on the mini .
we will have to all agree on to dirt or no dirt . but your plan sounds great .
wait till you see the 400s tyres ,cavas showing on the rear .hehehe.

once i got the nack of turn one it was quite fun backing it in a little. but each time i came into it i was a bit worried about the speed.

first few times i endo'd into turn one and relised it was best to short shift into third so i wasn't at full revs. made it alot safer. The brakes on my 450 lift the rear very easy. Heaps of marbles just off line in turn one. the last turn wasn't to bad its just that there was no real margin for error. I wanted to ride safe so i could come back again. A big stack could ruin the fun for everyone!

All this talking just makes me want to go play with my bike and not do any work. Got a new seat, rear guard, trimed tank shrouds, took shroud off exhaust and heat wraped it. Should have new aircleaner & plugs tomorow :)

Tried to fit rear brakes but i have the wrong type of brakes here. none for 'A' style swing arm :(

why dont it fit?
i would recomend not to use the supplied rear brake stopper bracket as they break off easy as .
post a picture
