i got an agb21....the gearbox broke....frame bent....fuel line needed replacing....rear shock unscrews while riding.... front forks are too soft...i wouldnt risk it..if youre buying it for ur 11 year old son i would buy something of better quality, if something breaks when hes goin flatout he culd come off or something

This is what we are trying to prevent by replacing bolts fuel lines, axels etc... as a father im sure he knows what to look out for in regards to his sons safety.. as your dad/mum/guardian did.. How did the GEARBOX break!?? was it a case of "i was just riding along when all of a sudden......."

Brains, follow Pj and Maylands advice and you shouldnt have any troubles.. Maylands has his 13yr old on one and No worries right Maylands!??

Hmmm Sorry guys we have different model pittys to those.I would personally stear clear of the "cheaper Alloy frame bikes"I deal with alloy and alloy TIG welding on a daily basis. The cheaper Alloy used by some manufacturers is low quality high Silicon content tube extrusions that are quite stiff but have no give .ie they will snap unexpectedly rather than bend as steel or CRMO does after a hard landing on casing out.We currently only ride and sell CRMO Steel twin tube frames.

Cheers

Some of the comments crack me up, But thanks foolsp, Pj, Maylands & everyone to date. Its amazing what I have learned in such a short time from all you guys Really Appreciate all your time & knowledge from you guys
Cheers

Yep, already rang my mate & said its mine, hopefully will find time during the end of this week to go round his place & pick it up. Then get it into my workshop for a mini overhaul, so I reckon we will be out at Pelican point by next week end for some running inn.

Good to hear bones, We are hear to help out! Well most of us.. if you decide to stick around, which we hope you will, you will soon learn members on here regard their opinion as the only one that is worthy.. jump into general sometime and have a look.. just dont say i didnt warn ya lol.

maylands would be the man to see around your way for sure! maybe if you or your son does manage to crack, or snap the frame he can hook you up with a decent replacement. Whats the compatability of frames to swing arms to forks? are we all running a universal size or is there a big difference in dimensions?
ie: will a Pit pro swinger fit on an AgB frame? will Maylands Frame be suitable for a motovert swinger and fork!?

Again welcome 'A-board'-'pun intended'

The atmoik Pro-X 125 is good for the money, and great for the bush & dirt tracks you have toooo (al together now.... Change all the bolts) but don't ride them on Tar coz then you can feel the lack of quaility....

But great for the proce & good for the first time rider

Good to hear you comment Hillz, as this is really what my son I am interested inn, dirt tracks & bush, and the more remote the better still.
And you will all hear heaps from me as I am intending to stick around as long as my sons enjoys his hobby, and more than likely I will end up buying one as well as I'm enjoying it as much as him already.
You all should have been a fly on the wall today as during my lunch break I went down to a large local motorcycle shop in Adelaide to have a squiz at the safety gear around and prices, well I reckon the only thing the salesperson didn't say I have to, must and more musts to buy is the flippin fridge in their lunch room.

yeah there horriable, if ya don't know what you want they will try all the tricks
