I have a new Atomik 150 mid size has a 26mm molkt carb

I started it up and run it for about 10 minutes, I throught the bike was idleing a bit low so i screwed the idle up a bit on the carby, bit mastake,

Now the bike runs crap its rought and stalls if your not giving it heaps of throutle and is very hard to start, I think the carby is putting too much fuel into the engine, Help How do I get it back to how it was. turning the screw on the side of the carbie now does not seam to make a difference

There should be two screw an idle screw and a fuel/air mixture screw. Sounds like you screwed the air/fuel mixture by mistake.

Start by screwing the mixture screw clockwise (or into the carby) until it bottoms out and can't turn anymore.

Then unscrew it 2 x 360 degree turns.

Start the bike and see how she runs. If needs be turn the mixture screw half a turn at a time until she runs well.

+ 1 for winding in the wrong screw.

take the air filter off and look in there with the throttle opened a bit,(not running obviously)
you will see a brass screws' rounded point/end sticking in a couple of mm on one side of the centre slide relief
that is the idle adjustment screw, the screws' head is on the outside of the carby, inline with the throttle cable. turn it in approximately 1/4 of a turn to raise the idle

can you remember how much you screwed the mixture screw in, if it was 1/2 a turn, just turn it back out 1/2 a turn again.

then read the carby tuning guide here
there are plenty of threads with links too.

cheers,
craig
