Thats a KLX style motor isnt it ? Get a honda based motor and it'll just drop straight in.. Ive got a Daytona 150 in my Dax others have put lifan 140s in without any problems

Thanks for your help I'm not sure which motors are Honda based are klx based I would love to use a Daytona but I'm not real keen on the $1000+ price tag and I don't really like the look of the Lifan's I've seen is there any other good Honda based engines I'm hopeing to use something around 14 to 16hp range?

If it's the YX150 they use in the Nitrous, it'll be CRF stlye and should go straight in ;)

However, if it's the one listed on their website here, then it won't fit.

If you are unsure on the different styles...

Thanks for your help I was going to buy a nitrous and strip the parts I need and sell the rest so that should work it works out cheaper than buying all the parts separately I'll just have to find a plane clutch cover and chain guard

Like this?

The beefier motor mounts required a little trimming to the inverted V area above top mount, and a light grind on the pinch-weld of the swinger on the right to clear the clutch cover. Likely the same is needed for all but the skinny mount engines. KLX-bend pipe, or an extra couple of crush gaskets, or the Honda-location version of the KLX-type head is needed.
