Hey im new to the forums. I have a SSR-125 with some stuff done to it. My exhaust came in the mail and it is a very nice exhaust. it is the d2 bbr big bore. however it wont bolt up to the frame towards the back. What should i do? crate a custom mount? Message me if you have any ideas thanks
Chris

Thats about all you can do mate , make a new mount up .

If your cheap and lazy like me , use a hose clamp and clamp through the rear mount and around the subframe . Works just as good , but is abit dodgy :)

Yeah see im not sure what i can do in this situation? Make another weld on top of the exhaust so it lines up to the frame or just create a durable mental clamp. However if i make up a cheap clamp its going to hit up against the bike..

I just thought how the rear plastics would cover the welds anyways so I might a mental bracket then weld it as a 2 piece. This exhaust is a pain lol

Its not that painful mate, quite easy actually, cut the existing bracket off and mount it to the exhaust and tack weld it, then remove the muffler from the bracket and finish welding, then its all done.

How did you go with your exhaust?>

I bought a bracket off ebay for about $8. It was mental that was flexible with a rubber piece. didn't use the bracket off the exhaust, used the one off the frame

flat bit of steel/alloy, hole each end. bolt through one hole to existing frame mount, bolt and nut at other hole through exhaust mount.

also can you get replacement exhaust decals for this model bbr exhaust or the older d section ones?

I'm sure you can man needs i needed a new exhaust so I just spent the extra money like $255 shipped and its by far excellent quality a sounds mean.
