just because u have a 15mm axle doesnt mean u need 6202's
most chinga hubs run diff bearings

well i took out my bearings out and realise my bike has a 12mm axle.
my new swingarm comes with a 15mm axle which makes things more confusing. i dont know what bearings i will need now. im currently not at home so i will show tell you the number later. maybe you guys can help me.

tell me the width and the outside diameter and i will identify them for ya

with a 12mm axle they can be any of the following but i need OD and width to be more accurate:
61801-2rs.....OD=21mm, width=5mm
61901-2rs.....OD=24mm, width=6mm
6001-2rs....OD=28mm, width=8mm
16101-2rs....OD=30mm, width=8mm
6201-2rs....OD=32mm, width=10mm
6301-2rs....OD=37mm, width=12mm

and with a 15mm axle:
61802-2rs....OD=24mm, width=5mm
61902-2rs....OD=28mm, width=7mm
16002-2rs....OD=32mm, width=8mm
6002-2rs....OD=32mm, width=9mm
6202-2rs....OD=35mm, width=11mm
6302-2rs....OD=42mm, width=13mm

now just measure your bearings and match them from the list

ill be sure to measure them as soon as i get home.
thanks heaps for your help roost, you have been a big help.
ill let you know what they are when i get home.
peace

roost who do you work for down in tassie

and duc ntn bearings are not japenese in these sizes
anything up to 30mm id is made in tiawan
skf and *** get there's out of malaysia
nsk and nachi are the only company's the still manufacture these sizes and style in japan

Webster bearings and engineering
And i distribute nsk, ***, some skf, nachi, ntn, timken, rhp and a few more

aagh yes one of our recent purchases

i'm a bsc rep here in melbourne but have done a few weeks penance in the hobart branch with wayne and jacko

also spent plenty of time at the bar of the inenco haunt the old woolstore there's a couple of really hot bar chicks there (mainlanders)

pull out your bearings and they should have some numbers on them like 6805 or 6205 etc.....if you can tell me the inside diameter, the outside diameter and the width i can tell you what you need but if there is a number on them thats what they are....just give me the measurements and i will identify them for ya and then you can ring the shop and they might have them or they can order them

well i justr found something quite strange and interesting.
there are 2 different size bearings on each side of the hub on my rear wheel for the 12mm axel.
they both have numbers on them these are.
sprocket side: 6201-2rs
disk break side: 6301-2rs

so roost what bearings am i looking to get with my new 15mm axel with those previous sizes on the hub?

Peace

well i can post them to you i have about 200 of each in stock and the 6301-2rs is $6.90 and the 6201-2rs is $4.85 and about $5.00 freight and you would see them in a couple of days if you would like me to do so give me a call at work (Webster bearings and engineering) 0364211200 and ask for Damian and we can sort something out for ya

id be more than happy 2 get the ngk bearings from you guys.
i just need to know the size i need because the numbers i gave u were from my bearings with the 12mm axel.
my new swingarm has a 15mm axel so i need to know what size i need to upgrade the to to fit the new 15mm axel.
but yes ill give u a call as soon as i find out what size i need

Thanks

call me when you get a chance i have a couple of questions to ask ya

this makes it difficult cause you have to keep the same outside diameter and width so the brgs will fit in the hub and im having alot of trouble finding a brg with 15mm id and the same od and width as you old brgs

ok i have done a little research and this is what i have come up with.......for you to run your 15mm axle you will need 6202-2rs and 6302-2rs but that makes the outside diameter bigger and the width thicker
6202-2rs...OD=35mm, width=11mm
6302-2rs...OD=42mm, width=13mm
Which means you would have to run a different hub.
i can offer a 6002-2rs and it will fit but the width is 9mm, 1mm skinnier than the 6202 and is a lighter series of brg and i dont think it would have the capabilities to handle the axle load.....mate i dont think im goin to be able to help out in this circumstance because there isnt a brg that i can get hold of with an ID of 15mm and an OD 32mm and 10mm width
and an ID of 15mm and an OD of 37mm and witdh of 12mm
I have spoke directly to NSK and they couldnt match any thing either

ill give you a call soon.
just at tafe now, its killing me life.
yeah i thought it was wierd.
if worst comes to worst ill just get new wheels.

ok any time after 1:30 will be fine cause thats when i get back from lunch
