bump for what ?

i have china asv lever's on mine and they haven't broken.
Replace the chain with a decent DID one, and get some good chain oil i use castrol spray on (supercheap $10)

I use wd-40 and it's great for bike chains so i thought i would get off the original oil and use that, idk if thats good though i also use that to make my engine shine then wash it off so it isnt caked :D yep im using my original brake and clutch lever's since there bi fold and yes.

Ok, you know that wd40 will clean off any grease that's there to protect and lubricate the chain's?
If you use wd40 you'll need to reuse it after about 5 hour's of bicycle riding, and about 15 minutes of motorcycle riding, it also causes premature wear .
Not good stuff to use on bearing's or chain's, but in the end it's up to you what you use
It is ok to use as a protectant though, spray it on your engine etc and wipe off any excess.
That's what it was originally designed for in the military, the high fish oil content help's to prevent rust.

The standard chain's that are supplied with cheap pit bike's stretch easily and fast.
If you don't keep an eye on the tension it might jump off the front sprocket and smash your stator cover and stator.
There are quite a few cases of that in the thread's here

The China asvs are decent but it you take a hit with upward force on them they break pretty easy being a cheap cast alloy.
I'm not a big fan of the bi-fold levers but then again that's a personal preference. I have a yz250 brake lever and a outlaw clutch with alloy perch. Have had them on my bike since I got it and haven't broken either. And trust me I have gone down hard a few times.
