well have been doing heaps of research for hours and found a few options for my motor. I have emailed akunar to see what he has but I think the tb 160 kit for the yx140 will fit my yx150DTE as they both have the same size piston - 56mm, and are basically identical bar the stroke? am I right? Only thing I cant find out is wether or not the cylinder lengths will impact on putting the kit on my engine?

or has anyone else got an idea on what kit I can use? Only reason im looking at a bore kit is that the old head / barrel has seen better days.

Im really not to familiar with the upgrades to the older style yx150 stubsy, any chance(before bubby arrives) of getting a yx(klx)150,160 or a 155z/160ho motor mate, this would make your life so much easier mate. Its not what you want to hear but its the only advice i feel right giving to you other than saying keep the (crf)yx150 stock, cause by the time your finished upgrading it your prob halfway to purchasing one of the motors mentioned. Sorry i cant help you out buddy. Just my opinion stubsy.
