Just had my bike impounded, dont really have anywhere else to ride excpet for the deserted park i went to and still got done..

Does anyone know what kind of fines ill be getting in the mail because of this? i know its 500bux to get the bike back, but they said ill get a fine too..

Any ideas on where i can ride around south east melbourne?..

It works out to be about 1500 of fines depending on a few things like Rec reg, licenses and your personal history. Umm south east Melbourne... Come to the victorain mini ride days for starters to meet other pittie riders who might have private land you can ride on. Vmr we ride at frankston mx track, parwan and broadmeadows.

you will most likely recieve a fine for riding an un registered bike on public property and unless you have a bike license you could also get done for that too

Could be another $500+ depending on what fines they slug you with. What type of bike?

If you were caught in Frankston city council park, don't evert expect to see your bike again. They have bi-laws that allow them to crush it.
But you can be caught for
Being unlicensed
Riding and unregistered vehicle
Riding in a public place

It's also people like yourself that trash and kill any negotiations that motorbike groups have with local councils for ride parks, tracks, permits and clubs. You wouldnt drive a paddock bomb on the street or this park so why ride a pitty????

You deserve what is handed to you by cops and more!

When I said 1500 that includes the 500 fine. I'm on my phone so I can't link you but there is a page about it on vicroads website. Just search on there.

Depending on the bike, you can surrender it save the $500 and put it towards a new one?

Thats what I was thinking. Id rather they crushed it than hand over more money to them if the bike was only worth a couple hundred extra.

I only just started a few days ago, where abouts are these mini ride days? And is the frankston one ok for starters on a pit bike or nah?..

Its a 140xr pit pro.
Im 20 years old, and i know some places have certain age limits and stuff, so its hard to ride with "seniors" when im only just starting out.

mate it dose not matter if its a 100 dollar ebay junker or race prep pitster pro lxr every one is there to have fun. so what you have little experience just go and have some legal fun. now i can say this no one will laugh at you if you lose every one has to start somewhere so just go and try you will never know how you will go
i hope that sound right cheers jesse

Yeah what Jesse said! Come along franga has something for everyone. I might go there Sunday. Im 22 and haven't been riding long. There is all different riders that come. Its better then all these illegal places! Where were you riding when you got caught?

frankston is not a hard track abit of a pain when its really muddy but still not hard
doesn't matter what age you are or riding skill there you can ride at frankston broadmeadows and parwan.
you just can't ride a pitbike on the big track after 11:00 at frankston
parwan you can only ride on 3 out of 4 of the tracks but at broadmeadows you can ride on all tracks.

sounds good, im gona get my bike back next week so ill probly come down next weekend, how much does it cost and do i have to wear all the right clothing? or just a helmet?

i went halves with my mate, so we will both come down and have a look. so are we able to just change riding every so often or do you need your own bike say?

Its just hard to get started now, because just yesterday i couldnt even take off, but luckily i can do that easily now, so i wont embarress myself stalling.. haha

the price went up so now its $30 but thats because they fixed the track so its not so bad now
i might be going there this sunday but i kinda wrecked my bike crashing lol
i think its just helmet and long sleve clothing
