im pretty sure thats it i had that problem with my bike but cant remember exactly what i did , but pretty sure its got to do with the air/fuel screws.

mite of been a air leek in the intake manifold hmmmmm?

does the throttle return when you rev it.......if not try pulling your carb off and giving the slide a clean and also lube up ya throttle cable

thanks i will try that later when i put my carby back on, any more info on what make and model

thanks

do you have the slide in the correct way..........pull the filter off when the carby and cable are all connected and se if the slide sits all the way down in the carb if it isnt your cable is either to short or your slide is in back to front turn it 180 degrees

i bet you you put the carby slide in the top the wrong way i did it to my crf50 the other day then i went back and checked and it was the wrong way and that makes it rev and stay reving

;)

the carby piston, spring, clip and cap arnt installed properly and friction is created betwwen the piston and carby walls and stops the spring from pushing the piston back down(deaccel).

im pretty sure hes talking about it idle's fine and everything but quick snap of the throttle it will "slowly" rev back down to idle ?

the problem was that when i started the bike it was ideling fine but when i accelerated past a point it stayed in a higher rev, putting the kill switch on untill the rez went down then turning it on mad it idel.

the problem is fixed now thanks for all your help, i followed one of the guide videos on cleaning a carby and i followed it and now it runs like a dream, very thankfull for everyones help

does anyone know anymore about what year make and model this bike is thanks
