bike wont start after running out of gas...

sorry idk if this is already a thread on this forum, but dumb me didnt check the gas tank before i rode my SSR 125cc pit bike today, and i ran out of gas. i didnt put it on RES cause i didnt know at the time what RES was, so i turned the fuel off, and i walked my bike home, filled the tank with about a half a gallon, and tried starting it with the fuel on ON and RES, and it wont start, i checked the spark plug, and it looks fine. is it a fuel line or what? and how would i check? sorry im new with dirt bikes, been a fan all my life, and recently am able to afford one, but im trying to learn. any help would be appreciated.

just undo ythe drain bolt on the bottom of the carb untill fuel starts coming out mate, then tighten her up and should start after that

i cant seem to find that drain bolt..

fixed it. it was the connector to the kill switch that came off -__________-
