All you need is a firewall and the intelligence on what, and what not to download and you'll never get a virus.

Actually flarry viruses are inevitable whether you have a firewall or not you will only slow down the viruses.

And before this becomes a Mac or PC debate...

They are both good in their own ways.

PCs are better for games and more aftermarket parts/support plus add ons.

Macs are more stable and better for graphic design and video editing.

these are just a few points to start with.

haha yes watch that warning =P yes i agree macs and windows are both very good in fiffernt ways... they both piss me off but with abit of ajusting i could use an apple pritty easilly with no worry... =) needs to have lots of grunt tho =)

the general consensus is pretty much on the money.. to run vista you need a lot of ram and paging memory, so unless you have a VERY new pc.. you might as well run xp home. just make sure you get the right hard-drive drivers, or flash your bios.. reinstalling windows with the generic ide drivers when you have sata is a pain in the ass.

PROFESSIONAL IS PISSING ME OFF!! =P yelp still giving me shit =P tryed to update it and windows doesnt like me haha not genuine =D so i got a copy of the net and installed that and now it still wont boot up GRRR

vistas looking good =) borrowing both my bros hdds again so ill get vista this time aswell =) see how i like it =D

I have this copy of XP pro with SP2 and it's corporate license so Mr. Gates can't tell if your genuine and lets you download all the updates you can handle.
