well for starters what carb are you running and whats the size of the uni filter

another thing i find is if you get filter oil on the black bit that you clamp the filter tends to slide off

its a 25mm fakuni
the stock filter said 38 underneath it and i thort that was it!
it was oily out of the packet!
im soo annoyed that the 2nd most vital part is not working!

ok well measure the end of your carby that air filter sits on (OD)

and measure the ID of the filter they should be the same or very close

just screw it up real tight make sure theres no oil on it. Its probably the most simple thing on your bike if it falls of can only mean one thing that it was loose so make sure its really tight and you should have no problem at all...

another thing with unifilters is you need the clamp on the very edge of the black piece or it wont hold and will fall off

i have the same proberlem mine doesn't fit (48mm) which for some reason doesn't go on very easily and i got a new one coz the old one split and same thing both 48mm
and there was no oil on the black rubber

nah the tighter i put it the quicker it falls off!
it juat slides off man!

your doing something wrong i have had this problem before but after you make sure there is no oil on the black part you clamp inside and out as you clamp it down make sure the clamp is on the edge and dont over do it just make sure you cant pull it off

if it is the right size, and you are having troubles, you may be putting it on incorrectly (no offence). If you go to far forward, or have one side on more of an angle even if it is tight, because of the vibrations, it will eventually come off again. Hope this helps

Ive had the same problem before.

You have to use a hose clamp, and get it to sit as close to the end of the rubber part of the filter as you can.

Tighten it so you phisically cant pull it off. (How it has been said before ^^^)

Dont over tighten it because it will rip through.
