brand new pitster pro x4r problems

got my new pitster pro on thursday and when i finally got it started up it wouldnt idle... engine bogs once the throttle is on halfway when riding and stationary. header pipe glows bright red. it splutters and backfires and makes all these ****ty sounding noises!
what do i do/what could be the problem?

Check for air leaks on the manifold and carbie.
Make sure the exhaust has a gasket between the pipe and head and make sure the bolts on the head are tight and seal properly.

also hold the throttle on a bit and push on the air cleaner choking the engine till it nearly stalls.. bring revs back up and do it again...

see how it runs after tht....

sounds like a blocked pilot jet or badly tuned slide needle
