ok as the title says im building a pitty track tho i want some hints and tips how to build stutters berms and whoops i know a rough idea how to but i want to know how to do it properly and by the way im doint it by hand and shovel i cant afford to get trucks or or so on so any help is greatly appreciated and yes i have seen other threads similiar but not quite answering me

thanks

i do in ground stutters, but of a bugger to maintain but on my track (where its not very wide) i just got a good garden hoe and dug sum lines up

you kinda do need truck loads of dirt to have decent berms. i tried without it but hten just got like 10 tonne n it was way easier ahahaha

yer unless you get big truck loads of dirt or a bulldozer/ something that can dig up dirt.. wont happen unless your determined with your shovel every day after school/work :) i neva was that determined

yeh mate well u can get dirt delivered for free depending where you are because it cost them to tip it at the dump maybe talk to some of your local concretors because they have to dig alot trust me im a concretor lol so yeh if its just around the corner from where they are workin then just give em a yell and they will be happy to drop it there

DDR200 is right. im a carpenter and i just rang the guy who does our excavations and told him he can dump all his **** there. if you can be there when he is dumping and get him to dump it in godd positions you dont need a machine to finish it off. call builders n excavators and pool companies like charm haven pools htey all are good sources of free dirt. ive go blue haven pools number, i was guna get some off em but got it off a mate instead. its 43638333

just build everything double the size of what you have in your head and make sure you compact those jumps....i just built a track i will get some pics up you mite like some of my ideas

dude these guys are right we have 3 mx and sx tracks at my dads and trust me its heaps easier to get the dirt delivered especially if its free heaps less work once ya finished if possible give it a light water and use a wackerpacker to set it and leave it a few weeks i wouldn't dig out the obstacles there heaps fun but they fill up with water and there is nothing better than riding after the rain
