Building frame..

I have a TDR and the frame as i have seen doesnt look that great.. I was wondering would it be feasable to cut out the massive tube down the middle and re weld in some other sort of structure?

I can easily acces a welder n such, i was thinking tubing and make it sort of like a pit pro frame but stronger somehow?

OR would i be better off just buying a new bike haha

Im just bored and thinking of shit to waste time..

A lot of people have thought about this but you have to be so spot on its not funny and really not worth it. a lot of people do bracing though...i think either buy a stronger frame or a new bike.

You would be much better off simply re-enforcing your current frame.

Thats what i thought.. When you say bracing, do people just like weld extra bars in places where they can fit them sort of thing?

Or would you like, sort of do the checkered look of a pit pro frame by adding another bar below the main frame rail?

is it a crf50 style frame? if so theres some good ways that i have just done with the suggestions from some lovely folk on miniriders

I know NOTHING about pit bikes haha, so i wouldnt have a clue of the difference between CRF style and any other style for that fact..

And while were on the topic, what is a mini motard? Is it like a road verson of a pitty? haha

And yeh what frames and engines are good? For someone looking for small jumps, no racing, weekender type thing thats quick too! and don't cost a mint.. All conflicting ideal's i know haha
