Im new to this hole thumpstar sort of thing and am looking at buying a bike. Willing to spend about 700-1000 including postage to south aussy. Im 17 about 184cm tall and 74 kg if that helps. I was thinking of maybe an atomik 140cc pro x as they are oil cooled and would o a bit harder than the 125cc's. if i got one og those id prob buy it of ebay. Any recomendatiions? If i was to get a atomik 140cc id have to wait as they are a month until new stock arrives.

Here is a link to a 140cc atomikprox http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=200087906303&rd=1&rd=1

Any help well appreciated

i would be looking to get a 140cc pit pro when the stock arrives they should be on ebay soon. bout the same price and go better than the ducar. comes with a lifan 140cc 55x59 not 57x58 therefore you may get a little more top speed out of them.

with the 140cc prox atomik.. u have to strip the motor apart when u first get it cause the shiftler or something gets lose and brakes somthing in the motor. i no the atomik macinc very well and yestaday when i went to pick up my prox 125cc i was talking to him about the 140 and how they are.. in the workshop area there was 3atomik prox 140cc with no motors cause they were being redone again cause lazy ppl didnt do the nut tight. but if u do that u got one good bike on ya hands.

cheers

so are the atomik 140cc prox allright? What is required in tightening this bolt. Im a mountain bike mechanic and can do all bike stuff but never striped down a moto...

That would be awsome if you could. I prefer the look of the atomiks and orions compared to what else ive seen.
