haha...don´t worry , my neighbor got this slight ticking for two years now with no issues at alland the engine is maintaned by me , so you can bet all is on spec !!

i searched the net and a few people are saying valves tick when theyre a bit loose so ill double check it again anyway

i no this is probly the dumbest question but where are the valves?
please dont abuse me!

the valve is inside the engine block, but the bit you adjust it from is infront of the pipe going from the carby to the engine block.
there is a little cap there that unscrews and its under there.
