can anyone identify this jet???

Hi All,

i have a 20mm Sheng Wey carby attached to the 110cc lifan in my Z50.

i need a bigger primary jet to get it running right and everyone i have been to has no idea what my jet matches.

can anyone identify this jet for me and let me know what carby's they come from and where i could get a bigger jet.

not sure if youll find a replacement pilot jet for that real easy...

best thing you could do is upgrade the carb to a more popular one, even a china mikuni 26mm (actually 22mm)

got the exact same on a thumpstar 120 once...they are very common in the States...and not bad either, besides the funky choke...go with Keihin pilots...should fit

i wish it was that easy, been to 3 stores and everyone of them said that keihin jets dont match, neither do mikuni

I'd have to agree....
a "26mm" really 22mm mikuni would do the job for cheap.....
otherwise chase down some suppliers in the 'US who sell that carby they should be able to tell you what jets fit

what does the carby having a fuel tap on it have to do with a jetting problem?

You need to go bigger, any reason why you carn't drill out the jet to the size you need? I have done this in the past with carbys on the Torana. I have main jet drills if you would like to borrow them. Send me an sms if you want them and you can pick them up from my work tommorow.

keihin pilot def wont do the job, the thread is in the wrong location..

you could drill it, but make sure its only in small increments.

you are right sean...stupid me:banplease:.... just looked around and the jet on the pic looks like a Mainjet from a Walbro carb....they are often used in Lawnmovers and RC application...maybe you got more luck with that

ok next question, if i am going to open out this jet, does anyone know if i just drill the hole through the centre or the ones that run through sideways as well??
