Carbon build up!

headsmess thats interesting about the knocking in hi comp engines so if you run standed fuel in a yz450 is that y it makes a knocking noise? they say its standed to make a knocking noise. but high octane fuel would help decrease that right?

I get the same build up in my bikes and cars !

the only thing I do is use SUBARU UPPER ENGINE CLEANER

it cleans the whole top of motor,

form carby to piston plus everthing in between (works as a parts cleaner,degreaser,paint stripper) ...etc!!!

try it and youll be impressed

fat80y how do you use it? like where do you put it do ya need to pull ya engine to bits first?

no need to pull engine apart if its still in running order

you need to get it to operating temp , then turn off ,
then spary 1/2 the can through the carby into the head,
leave for 10 mins
now start the bike again (it will be a bit hard to start),
you should see a massive white cloud of bad smelling smoke come out the exhaust
while revving the engine spray the other half down the carby
(you will need to really keep hte revs up as it will stall).
as the can empties the engine will start to rev better and the white smoke will stop
take the bike for a thrash and youll notice more power from top to bottom and more response better fuel economy etc

if the enigine is in bits all you can do is spary the cleaner onto the parts and let them soak for a while then wash with water if theres to much build up!
