Carby Problems???

When the bike in in nuetral it revs fine, first gear it runs fine, but once i hit 2nd to 4th gear, the bike losses all power. when i whacked the throttle open sometimes the bike will go and other times it will die
Some advice would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like you need to check your jetting mate.

Do a search, there are a few threads on how to jet your bike.

also check that you are turning the choke off.
and check the tank breather, make sure it isnt blocked.

and wouldnt hurt to check your valve clearances

What is the tank breather??

on the fuel cap there usually is a short bit of hose with a little cap on the end, there known for blocking up

Thanks all for the advice, it seems there was a bit of an air leak between the head and manifold, all fixed up now
