carby rebuild help

hello , i have a 125cc 4stroke pit bike which was running fine but then i left it for years and never started it. I was going to take it out this weekend and i decided to do a full carby rebuild and clean beforehand. I have never done it before and was interested to learn how it all works and the parts inside it. I was going fine except at some point what looks like a small rubber gasket thing and a little washer came out of it and im not sure where it came from/goes. I have some pictures to show what i mean

the rubber gasket and washer goes in the mixture screw hole... rubber first then washer then spring then screw the mix screw in
