Changing engine?

I am saving up for a new bike and i was wondering how hard is it to change the engine, it has a YX 150cc engine but i wasn't sure what engines would fit could you tell me what engine would fit? ZongShen? Daytona? PitsterPro? Thanks Guys.

hey man really depends on the frame but if it say's it has a lifan 150 then pritty much any of the ones you listed will

any horizontal engine will fit with a bit of modifications to your engine mounts.im guessing your current yx150 will be klx style so anything with the same style head should fit without to much mucking around.

i seized my stock engine and got a new lifan 125 it was really simple.
put the bike on a milk crate
just a strip down take off seat tank etc to get to the wiring,
take out the engine bolts,
make sure there is nothing attached to the engine (wiring, fuel line)
lift the frame off the engine,
done!
i could probably do a how to if you want (i got holidays coming up in 3 days so i'll have time to do a how to)

most horisontal minibike engines have similar mounting points so you shouldn't have much trouble.

under a grand?daytona t-rex 150.or you could pick up a zongshen 175 for 7-800 from DHZ.
