Hey guys, my Dad and I are looking for any sort of bike that isnt working, but is still repairable, is it possible to get a Suzuki or Honda or something like that for under $500, not working, preferablly either an 80cc or 125cc. Otherwise we'll just look around for some Pitpros or something like that that arent working. Can somebody please please point me in the direction of where I can get something like this? Ive been looking on Bikesales but all of them seem to be working, same goes for Ebay mostly. Are their any Sites/Stores that specialise in bikes that are in need of a bit of work to get them going again??

Thanks for your time,

It's a POS

yeh i've seen many bikes that need resoration go for under 500 on ebay, or go 2 a wreckers.

I'm with cass, plenty of old 80's model Jap bikes out there, 80cc or 125cc

Really? Sounds good then, Always prefer a Jap over anything, but if it means getting an 80's RM80 or something, then I'd just prefer a Pitpro because the 80s/90s ones look pretty crappy Visually, imo, Just dont like the look of them. Can I only go to the Tip? Where else? Are there Bike Scrap heaps, and places like that in Melbourne?

a few things wrong:
*buckled rims
*leaking forks
*bent hangers
*throttle cable broken but possibly fixable still usable as is (i can still ride it as the cord is not broken the peace that screws into the grippa asemblly is)
*motor may need rebuild (runs like a dog, blows smoke)

lol will include new vee rubbers and ishock rear shock

For something with that many problems I'd pay a bit less than $500 thats for sure. But yes ill definitely consider it, But im in Melbourne so it would almost make it impossible to get it here.

well....Ive told this story before but ill tell it again. I bought a 1979 rm 125 for 150 bucks. Took it for a ride and did the top end. So, i rebuilt the top end ($150) and resprayed the whole bike with export paint ($50) so for $350 i got a bike like this

So after all that i decided to sell it and i got $750 :D so i made a $400 profit, Not bad i reckon

unreliable two smokes...
